Westbury. My practice is doing very well. Most importantly, Mr Gati has the
desire and passion to explore new ideas, meet new people and share my
knowledge and talent.

The past quarter century of Bill's life has been characterized by hard work. I
was a child protégé pianist of the Juilliard School in NYC. Even though I
used to play to packed audiences in the metropolitan area and at Lincoln
Center, he is still playing today.

Bill decided to study architecture at the age of fifteen. He was accepted to
several prominent universities. he enrolled and completed the program at CCNY
with high honors. He worked for many top architects while attending college.
He also worked for NYC Department of Public Works as a Project Architect and
for the US Army Corps of Engineer as an Architect.

The-many-.opportunities that Bill had been exposed to in those years had a
tremendous influence on my intellectual development: helped cultivate a
sensitive, attentive, and alert spirit, refined, caring, and exacting nature
that molded me into a seasoned professional interested in preserving public
welfare.

Architecture has been part of Bill's family background - Eugene Glass, his
grandfather was a renowned architect and urban planner. He was responsible
for Hungary's Master Plan and the renovation of its
government buildings. John Gati, his father, was a well known and respected
professor at NYU and the School of Visual Arts, an award winning, published
director and producer for full-length animation films. It was he, by way of
his demanding, exacting nature, good taste, and education, who
taught him art and music. He had a profound influence on his intellectual
development and encouraged me to search for the many cultural opportunities
to which he has been exposed.

Bill is a spiritual person. he enjoys photography, painting, sculpture, music,
drama, reading, intellectual conversations, New York City with its many
museums, concert halls, libraries, organizations,
educational opportunities. He partakes in athletics, and likes to be in the
fresh air with a bright sun and clear skies.
He leads a weekly hike through Forest Park and a monthly house tour
through Richmond Hill, Kew Gardens and Forest Hills.
He understands three languages
and speaks and reads in two of those. These factors influence his intellectual
development.

His career goals include plans to complete his Ph.D. in Architecture and Urban
Planning, continue teaching architecture, publish books, expand my practice,
and to work in a government leadership position. His life goals are to
improve day by day in regard to character, relationships, and his
understanding of life; gain a greater awareness of how architecture, urban
design, and public policy affect our daily lives; and to serve his community in
the best way he knows how.

He is listed in Who's Who in America,
Who's Who in the World,
AIA NYS Guide to Architects and many other publications. He has taught @ Cooper
Union and NYIT. He has been published in many books and magazines. His
design ideas are contextual and regional in style.
